covid 19 update

 Auckland is shifting down to alert level 3 this week after more than five weeks in lockdown. 

It comes after fears three infections in Waikato on Sunday - all linked to a remand prisoner at Auckland's Mt Eden Corrections Facility - would ruin any hope of a move.

The level change will come into effect at 11:59pm on Tuesday, for at least two weeks. The rest of New Zealand will remain at alert level 2 until Auckland is out of level 3.

Northern parts of Waikato, near where the cases were, are in a 'bespoke level 4" for the next five days, meaning they will be under lockdown conditions during this period.

What you need to know:

• Auckland to shift down to alert level 3 at 11:59pm on Tuesday for at least two weeks

• The rest of New Zealand will stay at alert level 2 for as long as Auckland is at level 3

• A Section 70 Health Order has been put in place for northern parts of Waikato for five days
• Fourteen new cases of COVID-19 were announced on Tuesday. 

• Three household members of a remand prisoner announced as a COVID-19 case on Sunday tested positive in Waikato

Technology science

Today at science we were learning about heart rate and pulse rate.When I got there  I  needed to write a hypothesis  of heart rate.Also we have  to get a smartwatch  from Mrs Sharma  to measure  a heartbeat.Frist we have to used  the smartwatch  to count with heart beat in 30 seconds when I sitting  down.Next I have to jog  on the spot for 30 seconds to see what I get  for my heart beat.When I have to throw and catch the tennis ball  to my buddy for 30 seconds.Next I have to do star jumps  for 30 seconds to see what I get for my heat beat.

 Today I did a basic facts test on stage 5  times.And I got 95% on stage 5 time.And I am very happy with that and now I am on stage 6.And don't forget to go  on my new zeland  Olympic post,the link will be there and have a great day.

Junk food

Junk food should  be banned in school

I think  that  junk food should be banned from every school because it is  not good for children or people. They can be really really fat for children  and people

 They should have fruit because it  is  good  for people and children  . Junk food is dangerous because it has sugar and other fat things.If you eat   lots of junk food  you will die from eating junk food .A fruit is not a Junk  food  because it does  have any fat or sugar in the fruit  .Junk food is a lot of fat but  a fruit is not because it has no fat  or sugar inside the fruit . The fruit is a 

good thing to  eat .A junk food is a bad thing  to bring to school

 . People like to eat junk food everyday but not eat fruit.Junk food will get you yellow teeth  and inside your teeth . Good food will not give you yellow teeth if you brush your teeth everyday and at night and morning . Ever junk food like to eat  another fat thing .A fruit is a good  thing to bring to every school . 

people will get fat and how we don’t want it to be so we

 can come with healthy food.Junk food should be banned in school because people come with chips, fizzydrinks,pies and other junk foods .

And the people who are healthy just want to copy the people who bring junk.

Some healthy people eat a little junk once a day and that is also good for us because we are only eating a little junk so we can still be fit.

If any one sees people having junk tell them to come with healthy food the next day so we can have funbeing healthy and  to become fit.

When that one person comes with junk food, other people will just want it and fight for it so that is why people should not come with junk food to school.

 Today for science  we leant abour acids and Base.Frist we started with Mrs shamra and she teching  us about Acida and Base.Than we  which  a video about  adcids and base  to showed us about acids and base.Than we which another video to showed us what are acids and base.

What is pH?

How do you measure PH?PH acid and base.Of a product.

What is the scale PH is measured on?

What PH level does water have?Is water acidic,basic,or neutral?

What is the most acidic pH level? 

What is the most basic PH level?8-14 is the highest  of the base. 

Method:1.First of all,using the marker,label each item you will be testing.

2.Measure about 4 or 5 drops of each item  into the well plate and mark it for that item.

3.Take 10 different strips of litmus paper,So that you can test at least nine substances.

4.Take one small price of red and blue litmus paper,Dip it into one of the substances to be tested.

Earthworms and their relatives live anywhere there is moist  soil and dead plant material.Earthworms are most abundant in rainy forest areas but can be found in many habitats on land and in freshwater.

Reproduction

Earthworms are simultaneous hermaphrodites meaning worms have both male and female reproductive organs.during sexual intercourse among earthworms both sets of sex organs are used by both worms.

Such a process produces toxic products and greenhouse  gasses which in turn reduces our air quality and can degrade soil and waterways . Plastic products in particular plastic shopping bags account for more than half of the waste in landfills the word over.Larger pieces of plastic can also damage the digestive systems of sea birds and whales and can be potentially fatal.Over time plastic waste slowly degrades and breaks down  into tiny micro-fragments which are also causing scientists concern.Plastic accumulation results in environmental pollution.It accumulation affects lands waterway and oceans.on burning it release toxic gases like nitrogen oxide and sulphur dioxide.It also results in the depletion of wildlife and  marine life.

It was a dark and stormy night

It was a dark and stormy night when it started to rain. 

It was raining hard that made it scary with lightning.

 The clouds were turning grey and grey and it kept.

 It was raining hard and the lightning was making loud noises in the shy.

The lightning made a big loud sound that woke a lot of people up at night. It was so stormy that you could just see rain and lightning.

It was so stormy that there was metal on the ground.

 

The lightning struck all the way down and destroyed the metal and the floor underneath it.The light made cracks under the floor and above it.

 It made some people nervous and scared. The lighting caused damage to the ground.

 The rain was still going and it was getting cold.There was metal on top of somebody's house and the lightning went kaboom and the house broke. And the people said ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!.

There was a fire where the rain cooled down.

 But there was a little 

pieces of metal and the lighting went down and kaboom the road.

 

And the cars were running out of gas. There was lightning underground.

the sound that was showing and the lightning burnt it down and they screamed ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! Then the lightning kaboom people that were on the road.

 The rain was making the fire bigger that caused a house to burn into dust. Then a superhero came and tried to use his metal power but then the lightning turned into a fist and smashed him into the ground. After he was cooked up from the lightning.

The last day of school
